The Challenge

The National Gallery of Art needed to strengthen internal capacity, modernise its institutional communication practices and build the skills required to position Nigerian art and culture on the global stage.

The Insight

Cultural institutions cannot advocate effectively for the sector without first building the internal communications and strategic capability to articulate their own value to government, donors and the public.

The Strategy

PWM designed a comprehensive capacity-building programme that combined strategic communications training, workshop facilitation and institutional partnership development, tailored to the unique needs of a national cultural institution navigating both public sector constraints and artistic ambition.

  • Institutional communications framework
  • Stakeholder mapping and engagement strategy
  • Partnership development advisory
  • Content and messaging architecture

The Impact

The National Gallery of Art emerged with strengthened internal communications capability, a clearer institutional narrative and the strategic foundation to pursue international partnerships and funding opportunities.
